Hobbit tour

We are thankful having NO jetlag at all. Being on our feet for at least 34hours, and having short power napping at the plane, we are fit and ready to explore New Zealands hotspots.

So we got up and left motel by 9:00am. Hobbit tour started at 9:50am, so we had enough time to get there.

(Its not allowed to place detailled picture of Hobbit tour online - so there will be a private pictureshow at home)

Because we had to sign, not to post pictures and text at face book or similar, the picture show will be given at home for private J Flora, a really lord of the ring fanatic was quite happy being there! After taking part in the hobbit tour and also in a sheep shearing show, we had a coffee and left to the living thermal village (Whakarewarewa) in Rotorua. On the way there, Flora collected first driving experience on the roads of Kiwi-land J. Arriving Whakarewarewa (I could not pronounce the words correctly, so how could I remember all these places for future) at 14:00pm we had a long walk during the national park with places full of hot water. Those friends who still know the smell of Glanzstoff in St Pölten, I have to say … "Glanzstoffcity" is right here. In the whole city u can smell the sulfur. But after hours u get used to this lovely taste of smell ;-) Although it was cloudy Flora created a new stylish type of red skin. After a traditionel HAKA show we had the chance to get some awesome pics with the actors :-D

So we left the therminal village at about 16:30pm to check in at Emeral Spa Motel

Details Emeral Spa:
  • Modern and clean room (WTF?! we also stayed in room #6).
  • Very polite owner.
  • Each room has same style
  • Smaller bathroom but, the whirlpool is IN the bedroom. And it works well! ;-)
  • Kitchen just has an microwave and a sink
  • Toilet and Bath including shower in one
  • WLAN weak and 50MB for 5NZD available
